As an outsourced CFO with over 15 years of experience, Alyx helps business owners gain financial clarity, optimize operations, and confidently navigate growth, transition, and transformation.
Prior to joining Notion CFO & Advisors, Alyx served as the CFO at Great Plains SPCA, where she led a complete overhaul of accounting systems and implemented new financial processes to support real-time, strategic decision-making. Prior to that, she was the Controller at Tradebot Systems, a high-frequency trading and technology firm. She began her career as an Auditor at Grant Thornton, equipping her with a strong foundation in compliance, controls and financial integrity.
Alyx is a licensed CPA with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Kansas. She brings a calm, analytical approach to every engagement – translating complex financials into actionable insights that drive performance.
Alyx lives in the KC Metro with her husband (also a CPA), their two daughters, and a pack of furry companions. Outside of work, you’ll find her in the garden, traveling, reading and staying active.
